Will this unit be able to protect Burrow properly?

The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for a bounce-back season and working towards a postseason appearance.

One of the biggest needs for improvement for this team was the trenches, both offensively and defensively.

The front office added a few new names to the offensive line specifically and hired offensive line coach Scott Peters to replace Frank Pollack.

With the team officially practicing, we have gotten to see a sneak peek of what could be a potential starting offensive line over the past few days.

LG Dylan Fairchild and RG Lucas Patrick were the first two guards up in the first 11 on air session.

It’s the offseason and a lot can happen from here but noteworthy.

O-line looked like this: RT Amarius Mims, RG Lucas Patrick, C Ted Karras, LG Dylan Fairchild and LT Orlando…

The potential starting offensive line, and current first team, is Orlando Brown Jr (LT), third round pick Dylan Fairchild (LG), Ted Karras (C), free agent signing Lucas Patrick (RG), and Amarius Mims (RT).

There is still plenty of time until the season officially kicks off, but this could be a sign of the direction Peters and Zac Taylor plan to take in Week 1.

The offense has ridiculous potential going into next season, but it all starts up front.

PFF final end-of-season offensive line ranks for the Bengals:

2024: 30th
2023: 26th
2022: 28th
2021: 20th
2020: 30th
