The Bengals finally have stability at the tight end position, and it could pay dividends early.

Bengals extending Mike Gesicki is already paying strong dividends for both sides and the season is still far away

Bengals Named Best Free Agent Fit for Top Remaining Veteran Safety Julian Blackmon
“The Bengals need all the help they can get after their defense endured a dreadful 2024 season,” Manzano wrote. “Blackmon can improve the Bengals’ secondary after establishing himself as a quality playmaker in five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.”

“Staying on our theme of AFC contenders and key offensive line positions, the Bengals are filling the shoes of Alex Cappa (released as a cap casualty) with either incumbent Cody Ford or free agent addition Lucas Patrick.”

Bengals’ worst trade of decade brings back nightmare scenario
“The trade helped the Bills go up and get quarterback Josh Allen, while it was an all-around whiff for Cincinnati. By making the deal, the Bengals missed out on a solid left tackle in Kolton Miller, who has since started 107 games for the Las Vegas Raiders. They also missed on a Pro Bowl center in Frank Ragnow and settled on center Bill Price with the 21st pick.”

Evan McPherson, who was so clutch in 2022 and 2023, struggled with consistency last season. He would end 2024 with the lowest FG% of his career at 72.7% and missed several big kicks that prevented Cincinnati from winning games.
