Dolphins sign former Bengals CB Mike Hilton

The former Bengal could see major snaps with an injury-riddled cornerback room in Miami.

The Cincinnati Bengals allowed free agent cornerback Mike Hilton to walk in free agency following the 2024 season after a great four-year run.

While he had many great moments, the Bengals let him leave town, giving younger players more opportunities to play.

Hilton stuck around on the market for a while, but now he’s signed with an opportunity to get starter snaps with the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins’ starting CB tandem of Kendall Fuller and Jalen Ramsey is no longer on the team, and they have already lost two cornerbacks to injury in camp.

After those injuries, the Dolphins signed both Hilton and Jack Jones, who will be competing for roles with the team. One of the Dolphins’ injured cornerbacks is former Steeler Artie Burns, who is also the player Hilton left to join the Bengals.

The Bengals will be banking on a very young cornerback room that has had some big-time flashes before. Now, if there are any question marks in camp, they will no longer be able to pursue Hilton, but at least he will have a chance to earn some solid starting snaps in Miami.
