Kentucky is going after a pair of Tylertown High School teammates.
Jordan Anthony, the teammate of fellow Kentucky target Jeremiah Dillon, announced through Twitter on Sunday afternoon that he’s down to seven schools, and the Wildcats made the cut. Also included in Anthony’s list are Boston College, Houston, Ole Miss, Syracuse, Memphis, and South Alabama with a decision expected for July 27th.
Anthony, a three-star class of 2022 athlete from Tylertown, Mississippi, clocks in at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds.

Like with Dillon, the Kentucky coaching staff has only been recruiting Anthony for a short amount of time. He went on an unofficial visit in the middle of June, about a week after UK extended a scholarship offer. Dillon makes his college decision later on Sunday and Kentucky is one of the finalists.
“It’s different. It gives you a different vibe,” Anthony told KSR about Kentucky earlier this week. “Most schools have the same vibe but Kentucky was different. The coaches and the players and how they treat each other.”
Recently being tabbed as the Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year in track and field, Anthony is another wide receiver with blinding speed that new offensive coordinator Liam Coen has put an emphasis on as a recruiter. Anthony recorded a time of 10.21 seconds in the 100-meter dash not long ago.
Anthony said that, during his visit to UK, he spoke mainly with Coach Coen and assistant coach Jon Sumrall. Anthony and Coach Sumrall text nearly every day. Kentucky’s pitch to Anthony is that they can use him in open space as a playmaker. Come on down.
