As more and more recruits across the nation flock to as many college campuses as they possibly can, prospects are getting a better idea of where they want to land at the next level.
Even though he has yet to take an official visit to Kentucky as of this post, four-star defensive end Bryson Jennings from the class of 2022 is still high on the Wildcats–to the point where he included UK in his top five, which he announced to Twitter earlier on Thursday. Joining the ‘Cats are Virginia, Penn State, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech.

According to Jennings’ Twitter account, he recently took a visit to Virginia Tech. He is currently being recruited by Kentucky’s outside linebackers coach Brad White as an edge rusher. UK reached out and offered him a full year ago in June of 2020.
Even though 247 Sports and Rivals are split on whether he’s a three- or four-star recruit (Rivals says four-star, 247 Sports says three-star), both services believe Jennings–who is listed at 6-foot-6, 235 pounds–is one of the top players at his position in the country. 247 Sports has him as a very high three-star, as well, ranking him as the 418th best player in the nation.
A native of Virginia and playing his high school ball at Clover Hill High School out of Midlothian, VA, Jennings has long been on the radar of the nearby programs. Virginia was his very first Divison I offer, coming all the way back in December of 2018. He took a visit to the Cavaliers campus a few months after that and received his offer from Virginia Tech that summer. Those two schools have continued to make him a priority.
Considering Kentucky made his top five, it wouldn’t be a shock to see him set up an official visit sometime this month or in the near future.
