One of the meanest maulers in college football is getting some respect put on his name ahead of the 2021 college football season.
For the fifth time the Kentucky offensive tackle has earned preseason All-American honors. The latest praise is from Athlon Sports. The preseason magazine made Kinnard a first team selection after doling out All-SEC honors to the Knoxville native.
Kinnard previously earned first team All-American honors from Sporting News, Walter Camp and Pro Football Focus, who rank the offensive tackle as one of the 50 best players in all of college football. Phil Steele’s magazine is the only one to knock Kinnard down to the second team. It must be retaliation for all of the Free Money podcast trash talking.
You’ll hear a lot more from Mr. Kinnard next week when he joins Mark Stoops and Josh Paschal for SEC Media Days. KSR will be in the Grand Ballroom of the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover on Monday, but the Cats will not get the spotlight until Tuesday morning.
