Former Kentucky star DeMarcus Cousins continues to be a force to be reckoned with in Puerto Rico.
Cousins was once against named Hoops Agents Player of the Week after putting in 31 points and 12 rebounds in round 34 of the league. He also nailed the game-winning three-pointer for Guaynabo.
Guaynabo defeated Bayamon 101-100 to move into second place in their groups standings in the BSN league.

American (211-C/F-1990) had a great game in the last week for second-ranked Guaynabo, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 34.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Bayamon (#1, 18-11) 101-100. Guaynabo maintains the 2nd position in their group in Puerto Rican BSN. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Guaynabo will need more victories to improve their 17-12 record. In the team’s last game Cousins had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Guaynabo, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Kentucky star has very solid stats this year. Cousins is in league’s top in points (4th best: 21.1ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 10.2rpg) and averages impressive 1.4bpg,58.8% FGP and 42.9% from behind 3-point line.
