D’Eryk Jackson was a three-year starter for Kentucky at linebacker and finished his collegiate career with 216 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and five interceptions in 47 career games. The South Georgia native led UK in tackles in 2022 and 2023. After going undrafted, Jackson will now get his shot in the NFL following five seasons in college football.
The former three-star recruit in the 2020 high school recruiting cycle is headed to Seattle.
D’Eryk Jackson suffered through two notable injuries at Kentucky. The first was an Achilles injury during spring practice in 2021 that forced the linebacker to miss almost the entire season. The second was a shoulder injury in 2024 that forced Jackson to miss UK’s final four games. Jackson possibly gets drafted if it weren’t for those injuries.
Now the Kentucky product will head to Seattle’s minicamp under second-year head coach Mike Macdonald. The Seahawks currently have just five inside linebackers on the roster. D’Eryk Jackson will compete for a roster spot.
