Stoops will reportedly work as a special assistant to Sarkisian at Texas.

Former Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops has been hired by Texas coach Steve Sarkisian as a special assistant, a source close to the situation told Horns247.com.
“Mark Stoops has been hired in a similar special assistant role that Paul Chryst and Gary Patterson were hired in by Texas,” the source said.
