The newest Kentucky Wilcat is a big fan of the Kentucky native
As year number two approaches for Mark Pope and Co. in Lexington, a brand-new roster is already hard at work during the summer practice season.
The new team features multiple Kentucky natives, as well as some notable transfers, including former Pitt Panther guard Jaland Lowe.
Lowe is coming off his best season in college, averaging 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in 2024-25.
With that impressive season comes the transfer portal, and Lowe landed in Lexington to join Pope, in hopes of a National Championship run.
Lowe recently chatted with local media and shared why he chose Lexington, but also made a rather interesting comment.
Lowe stated, “Trent Noah is the best shooter I’ve ever seen.”
Noah, the Kentucky native, is looking for a massive second season in Lexington, and Lowe is clearly quite the fan of his.
I do have to say, the first reply is quite funny:
Pittsburgh must have been worse than I thought.

All jokes aside, it is great to hear the new guys show love to the returners, and hopefully, Noah takes a big step forward this season.
