Will he be ready?
The Kentucky Wildcats roster is filled with plenty of new faces for the BBN, but one transfer is already very familiar with what the program and its fanbase brings.
Jayden Quaintance committed to Kentucky under John Calipari, before heading to Arizona State after Coach Cal left for Arkansas. Now, after a season in Tempe, he will finally rock the blue and white.
Currently recovering from a torn ACL, the question still remains: When will we see him take the court?
Well, he doesn’t drop a lot of hints, but this might just be one.
When asked if there are any games he is looking forward to, the sophomore big man pointed to UK’s rival: The Louisville Cardinals.
“I’m really excited for the energy that’s going to be in that game. That’s always a fun one, and all the fans look forward to it, so I’m looking forward to that game for sure,” said Quaintance of the Cats vs. Cards battle.
The kicker to that answer is that it is November 11th.
The Battle of the Bluegrass will take place a week before the Champions Classic this season. Will we see Quaintance take the floor?
Sounds like he is motivated to be ready for it.
