A nice get for the football Cats!
The Kentucky Wildcats just scored a nice recruiting win while also getting a bit of revenge on Vince Marrow and the Louisville Cardinals.
On Wednesday, Kentucky scored a pledge from high 3-star prospect Jordan Crutchfield. The announcement was made on Instagram via Riley Alberts.
This comes just days before Crutchfield was set to officially visit Louisville, as this is a much-needed win for Mark Stoops and Co.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Crutchfield plays at Vero Beach High School in Florida after previously playing at Fort Pierce Westwood. He’s ranked as the 40th-best safety and 463rd-overall recruit in the class of 2026 by 247 Sports Composite, so he’s well within reach of becoming a 4-star prospect by the time the final rankings come out. He’s also played cornerback and wide receiver.
Among the other schools that offered a scholarship include Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida, Penn State, Miami, South Carolina, Florida State, and Texas A&M.
Crutchfield joins Jarvis Strickland, Prince Jean, and Davis McCray as Kentucky’s four-man 2026 class currently.
