This would be a great addition to Kentucky’s front court

Big Blue Madness is just over two months away, and there will be a big man recruit on campus the weekend of Oct. 10-12.

Rising 4-star center Josh Irving has booked his official visit with the Kentucky Wildcats that weekend. This comes after he recently became the 19th player Kentucky has offered for the class of 2026.

As first reported by Brandon Jenkins of 247 Sports, the 6-foot-11 big man out of Pasadena (CA) has locked in seven visits over the next few months, including trips to see the Louisville Cardinals and Kansas Jayhawks.

Below is Irving’s upcoming visit schedule:

  • San Diego State (August 21)
  • SMU (August 29)
  • Kansas (September 12)
  • Louisville (September 19)
  • Texas A&M (September 27)
  • Kentucky (October 10)
  • Southern California (October 17)

Irving is the No. 44 player in the country and the No. 10 center in the country, according to Rivals.

Wildcats assistant coach Jason Hart has been leading the recruiting charge, with head coach Mark Pope keeping tabs.

Irving will be joined by 5-star shooting guard Jordan Smith Jr. the weekend of his official visit. Big Blue Madness is during that weekend.
