The former Wildcat is getting PAID.
The NBA offseason has officially arrived after the draft last week, and now teams are making moves to bolster their rosters.
One former Kentucky Wildcats standout is about to get paid as June comes to an end!
Julius Randle is expected to sign a three-year $100 million contract extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Shams.
Randle is set to decline his $31 million player option to sign the extension and is now with Anthony Edwards for another three years, with a new player option in 2027-28.
Randle was part of the massive trade last year with another former Wildcat Karl Anthony Towns.
The three-time all-star struggled early on last season for the Timberwolves but ended up putting it together and posting impressive numbers in the back half of the year and playoffs.
Randle instantly became a crucial piece to Minnesota’s success as the team went 44-25 with Randle in the lineup and 5-8 without him last season.
The former Wildcat will now get a huge payday and has a solidified new home for the next three years.
