The double zeroes are back for Otega Oweh!
I’m not sure how many people get excited about jersey numbers being announced, but I’m someone who does.
The Kentucky Wildcats basketball jersey numbers are here ahead of the 2025-26 seasons (according to KSR), as many players have been announcing their numbers on social media while completing their move-ins in recent weeks.
Let’s take a look at what number each player will be wearing in the team’s pursuit of their ninth national championship.
2025-26 Kentucky Wildcats Basketball jersey numbers
Otega Oweh – #00
No surprise here. Oweh chose this number when he first came to Kentucky because both his first and last name start with the letter “O.” Double zero, and worth a whole lot more than that, will defintely be on highlight reels this season.
Denzel Aberdeen – #1
Aberdeen wore No. 11 on Florida’s national championship team. He could have worn that number this season on the Wildcats with Travis Perry now at Ole Miss, but he will wear the same number Lamont Butler wore last season.
Jasper Johnson – #2
Johnson wore No. 2 in high school at Woodford County and Overtime Elite, and he will stay with that number as a freshman in Lexington.
Kam Williams – #3
Williams was Kentucky’s first portal commit this season, and he’ll wear the same number he wore playing for his previous school at Tulane.
Andrija Jelavic – #4
Jelavic was a commitment from overseas in April, and he will wear No. 4 just as he did with Mega Superbet.
Collin Chandler – #5
No surprise here. Chandler had some big moments as a freshman, and he will hopefully have a more prominent role this season as a sophomore.
Trent Noah – #9
Noah chose No. 9 when he first came to Lexington because it represents the national championship number Kentucky is chasing this season. If the Wildcats are cutting down the nets in Indianapolis next April, Noah will have a big role in the Wildcats winning the national championship.
Brandon Garrison – #10
Garrison’s shot-blocking and rebounding are going to be paramount on this Wildcats team. With a team as talented as Kentucky is, Garrison will not be getting lost in the shuffle of the best players. That’s a huge advantage for Kentucky.
Jaland Lowe – #15
Like he did at Pittsburgh, Lowe will wear No. 15 and bring a fearless shooting and scoring mentality to the Wildcats.
Jayden Quaintance – #21
Quaintance is still rehabbing from knee surgery he had last season. If he can stay healthy this season, Kentucky’s frontcourt will once again be a huge strength.
Braydon Hawthorne – #22
Hawthrone is going to wear No. 22 because Johnson is wearing No. 2, the number Hawthorne wore in high school. On3 has him at No. 64 in its recruiting rankings.
Mouhamed Dioubate – #23
Dioubate wore No. 10 at Alabama last year, but he is going to wear the number of the G.O.A.T. of basketball in Michael Jordan as well as Kentucky’s 2012 National Player of the Year Anthony Davis.
Malachi Moreno – #24
Moreno wore No. 24 at Great Crossing when his team cut down the nets in the state championship at Rupp Arena. He’ll now rock No. 24 in Kentucky blue.
Reece Potter – #33
Potter wore No. 34 at Lexington Catholic and No. 35 at Miami (Ohio). Now, he’s going to wear No. 33 in Kentucky blue.
