Kentucky is set to host an elite trio of recruits for this weekend’s scheduled Big Blue Madness event. The Wildcats are expected to host five-star Jordan Smith Jr., five-star Caleb Holt and four-star Josh Irving.
Big Blue Madness is Kentucky’s annual tip-off to its men’s and women’s basketball seasons and serves as a vital weekend to mark the beginning of a new season.
“I’m going up there this weekend for Big Blue Madness. So I’m gonna go there, check it out, and see what they’re talking about. Then I’ll probably be done with visits until December,” Holt told ON3 about his upcoming visit.
Holt also visited last year’s event, alongside former five-star Acaden Lewis, who is now at Villanova and Tyran Stokes, the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2026.
Kentucky is entering head coach Mark Pope’s second season in Lexington.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 11, beginning at 6 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on the SEC Network+.
