Kentucky is currently working on filling out its 2026 high school recruiting class with activity on the trail expected to heated up once visits can resume during the season. Yet, important groundwork in the 2027 class is also being completed. One in-state prospect has a emerged as a potential priority recruit for the Cats.
Kentucky offered Somerset (Ky.) Pulaski County rising junior Brady Hull a scholarship in February 2024 before his sophomore campaign. That early offer makes a lot more sense now. Options are emerging for the line of scrimmage prospect.
Brady Hull has received power conference offers from Kentucky, Georgia Tech, NC State, Mississippi State, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin. Some more are likely coming in the future. The Cats have some real competition for this in-state recruit.
“I was just expecting to build a relationship. It’s my first conference call with the coaching staff,” Hull told KSR+ after receiving an offer from Kentucky. “I was just really shocked and got really emotional. It’s been a long-term goal for me as a Kentucky kid myself. When you’re living in Kentucky as a kid, you always want to play for your home state.”
Offensive line coach Eric Wolford is leading this charge for UK. Hull made it to campus back in April for an unofficial visit. Expect the program to get Hull back on campus for a game or two this fall. Heading into his junior season at Pulaski County, Hull remains one of Kentucky’s top targets in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
