Add another name to the list.

The Kentucky Wildcats are right in the middle of their summer workouts, but that has not stopped the staff from hitting the road and recruiting during this July live period.

With plenty of their top targets playing this week, Mark Pope and his staff are starting to circle their top names for the class of 2026 as the AAU season comes to an end.

One of the more recent players to start receiving interest from Kentucky is five-star forward, Cam Williams. That interest took another step on Wednesday night.

According to Jacob Polacheck of KSR+, Williams has now received an offer from UK. He has also scheduled an official visit to Lexington set for September 26-28th.

Williams, a 6-11 and 200-pound forward out of Phoenix, is considered a top-20 player in the class according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings. He also has visits scheduled to Texas (Sep. 3-5), Purdue (Sep. 12-14), Duke (Oct. 3-5), and USC (Oct. 11-12).

During his interview with Polacheck he had some positive things to say about the Cats as well:

“I like how they put guys in the league. They have a lot of big names who are playing currently, like SGA, KAT, and AD. They have a long list of really good pros. I like how they play as a team,” said Williams. “I watched a couple of their games last year. Obviously, they’re one of the top teams. It’s a school I could see myself fitting in at, playing there, and all of that stuff.”

It appears the Kentucky staff has made a point to make Williams feel like a priority. Now we will see if getting him on campus helps propel them to the top tier of schools in this recruitment.
