A top Kentucky target in the 2026 high school cycle is ready to come off the board. The Cats appear to be in terrific shape for this five-star guard.
Jason Crowe Jr. announced on the Fourth of July that he will commit on July 18. No finalists were given.
The Southern California native is the No. 6 overall player in the 2026 Rivals Industry Ranking. Kentucky, USC, Alabama, Washington, Texas, Baylor, UCLA, and Arkansas are schools all actively recruiting the five-star prospect. The guard is currently averaging 23.8 points per game on the EYBL circuit.
“My relationship is real good with them. Coach (Mark) Pope texted me before USA to just be myself, and to play my game. That helped,” Crowe told On3’s Jamie Shaw. They shoot a lot of threes, and obviously I’m a shooter. They play run-and-gun and that’s how I like to play.”
Kentucky signed three high school prospects in Pope’s fist full recruiting class. Each player was ranked inside the top 100 with Jasper Johnson being the highest at No. 25 overall. Jason Crowe Jr. could give the UK head coach his first top-10 recruit. Adding Crowe would be a monster addition for the Cats as they look to put a good group together in 2025 before hitting the transfer portal to address other roster needs.
UK could make a big splash in two weeks.
