One of the biggest SEC East games of the season takes place in Lexington this weekend.
Ahead of the game, Kentucky released its Week 2 depth chart, which didn’t have any changes from the Week 1 edition. That’s actually good news for Taj Dodson, as the sophomore DB is still the second-string free safety behind Yusuf Corker. Dodson suffered a groin injury in the first half of last week’s win over Louisiana Monroe and was declared out for the second half.
Typically when a player has a multi-week injury, said player is removed from the depth chart. Here’s to hoping he’ll be able to play this week, as he’s the team’s third-most experienced safety right now behind Corker and Tyrell Ajian.
Additionally, head coach Mark Stoops met with the media to preview Cats vs. Tigers in primetime. Here is a recap of what he said via UK Athletics (transcript will be uploaded later).
