University of Kentucky Athletics will take over the SEC Network this week.

On Thursday, July 3, nearly a dozen of Kentucky’s best wins — spread across eight sports — from the 2024-25 season will be broadcast throughout the day on the SEC Network and the ESPN app. Three games from Mark Pope‘s first season coaching the men’s basketball team will fill the schedule: wins over Tennessee, Duke, and Florida. A pair of baseball victories against Oklahoma and Tennessee will also grace your TV screens.

Only one football game made the cut, which was Kentucky’s early-season upset road win over a top 10 Ole Miss squad. Other UK sports on the docket include women’s basketball, women’s soccer (the first NCAA Tournament win in 10 years), gymnastics, volleyball (the SEC championship-clincher), and softball.

I always enjoy tuning in to Kentucky’s SEC Network Takeover whenever it happens during the summer. There are many worse ways to spend the day before a holiday weekend kicks in, too. Anyone else also planning to set their alarms for midnight? The replay of the win over Duke at 10:00 a.m. ET will be appointment TV for the Big Blue Nation.
