La Familia’s run in The Basketball Tournament came to an end Tuesday evening with a 71-70 loss to Eberlein Drive.
The Kentucky alumni team went into Elam Ending time with a 5-point lead and appeared to be in good position to get the win with a target score of 71. They stretched the lead to 65-58 on a Kahlil Whitney jumper.
Things went south late and Eberlein’s Anthony Clemmons nailed a three-pointer to reach the target score and send La Familia home.
