It’s been a beautiful Mother’s Day Sunday with the sun shining down on all of the great moms in the Bluegrass, a celebration of love and sacrifice for the glue holding together so many families. Among those enjoying the big day? Your favorite Kentucky Wildcats, the majority of last year’s men’s basketball team and some of the new guys — plus the coaching staff — putting the spotlight on their loved ones on Mother’s Day.

Some kept it simple with a picture on their Instagram stories while others shared full posts dedicated to the moms of Big Blue Nation.

As we wrap up this celebration, let’s go through some of the best in honor of those who helped raise the Cats of both then and now.

Where to even begin with favorites? Brandon Garrison’s message was sweet while Jasper Johnson double-dipped with his mom and grandmother to earn some extra brownie points. How about the assistant coaches highlighting their own mothers and the mothers of their children? Good call there, Alvin Brooks III and Jason Hart. Denzel Aberdeen with the candid photo of mom digging into a cajun seafood boil is excellent, too.

Eh, forget it — all of the Cats did a great job.

Happy Mother’s Day, Big Blue Nation!
