Tonight marks a milestone for Reed Sheppard. The former Kentucky shooting guard is about to become an NBA first-round draft pick.

Sheppard is projected to come off the board during the lottery portion of Tuesday’s first round. When he does, his longtime girlfriend Brailey Dizney will celebrate the accomplishment with him.

Dizney and Sheppard have been together for several years, according to their social media profiles. They both attended Kentucky this year, where Dizney was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority while Sheppard starred on the bardwood.

Sheppard turned 20 on Monday, and Dizney commemorated the occasion with a post celebrating their years together.

“16->20 and having the time of our lives !!!Let’s be young and in love foreverrrr🤸🏻‍♀️🎉🎂👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻🍾,” she captioned it.

By the looks of her Instagram, Dizney spent some time in Florida recently and is also a big fan of the beach in general.

She and Sheppard also attended the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs last month, and of course, they dressed for the occasion.

In his lone season at Kentucky, Sheppard averaged 12.5 points per game while shooting a remarkable 52.1% from three-point range.

He topped 20 points in a game seven times, including a career-high 32 in a road victory over Mississippi State.

The son of two former University of Kentucky basketball stars, Sheppard will join his father Jeff in the NBA fraternity tonight.

Jeff Sheppard went undrafted after winning Most Outstanding Player during UK’s run to the 1998 national championship, but later appeared in 18 games for the Atlanta Hawks during the 1998-99 season.
