With college athletics completely evolving over the last five seasons, conference realignment has been one of the biggest changes alongside NIL and the transfer portal.
Recent additions of Texas and Oklahoma last season, UNC has long been thought of as a potential match for the conference if any more teams were to be added by the SEC. Now throw in the basketball pedigree and the addition of Bill Belichick leading the football program, and it could bring a whole new power to the conference as a whole.
Bring me back the annual UK-UNC game. Sounds like it could very seriously be on the table.
