Kiyaunta Goodwin is starting to get the recognition he deserves.
Over at On3, the brand new recruiting service ranked Goodwin as the top overall offensive tackle from the class of 2022. Checking in at a massive 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, the future Kentucky Wildcat has also been tabbed as a five-star recruit and the No. 16 overall prospect from his class. Goodwin is one of the biggest recruiting wins in Kentucky Football history and headlines what could be a historically gifted class for head coach Mark Stoops and company.
Goodwin has long been viewed as a national talent, but not quite to this level. 247 Sports and Rivals have the Louisville, KY native ranked at No. 55 and No. 58 in his class, respectively, while ESPN has him at No. 73. Goodwin chose the ‘Cats back in April, doing so over the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Michigan State.
Coming in as the ninth-best offensive tackle, according to On3, is another player Kentucky has their eyes on: Aamil Wagner, who is ranked as a four-star and is the brother of former Kentucky wide receiver Ahmad Wagner.
