The Kentucky guard joined top college stars in Las Vegas as NBA scouts looked on.
Kentucky Wildcats guard Otega Oweh continues to build momentum heading into his senior season, recently competing at one of the nation’s premier offseason showcases at the Chris Paul and Jayson Tatum High School and College Elite Camps in Las Vegas.
Held from July 29 to August 1, the prestigious invite-only event brought together the top guards, wings, and forwards in the country for four days of high-level competition and hands-on training.
Paul hosted elite guards, while Tatum worked closely with the best forwards and wings, which gives a player like Oweh the chance to learn directly from two of the NBA’s biggest stars. The camp featured not only top college talent but also included NBA players such as Paolo Banchero and Ryan Dunn, making it a valuable opportunity to compete against pro-level talent.
Also in attendance? Representatives from all 30 NBA teams were evaluating high school and college players ahead of the 2025 NBA Draft. It was a prime stage for Oweh to showcase his athleticism, defensive versatility, and emerging offensive game.
Fresh off a breakout junior year in Lexington, Oweh is poised for an even bigger senior season. He’s expected to be one of Kentucky’s leaders and a strong SEC Player of the Year candidate.
With eyes on a national title and the NBA, Oweh’s offseason work is clearly paying off.
