Is it too early to get excited for basketball? The answer is no.
Good morning, BBN!
Summer workouts have begun for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team, and fans got a first look at the 2025–26 squad thanks to new photos from UK Athletics.
Every player on the roster was spotted in the shots, except for international commit Andrija Jelavić.
While Brandon Garrison and Jayden Quaintance (still recovering from an ACL injury) weren’t front and center, they were present with the team.
Two things stand out immediately: athleticism and technology. Denzel Aberdeen, Kam Williams, and Mo Dioubate showed off impressive verticals during drills.
The team’s gear? That sleek black top isn’t just for style—it’s Catapult’s Vector Elite 2.1 Vest, which tracks heart rate and other performance metrics.
While this doesn’t tell us anything about this year’s team, it’s some excellent content to hold us over until basketball season, especially after the Vince Marrow news earlier this week.
