Kentucky guard Reed Sheppard will achieve his lifelong dream of becoming an NBA player this Wednesday evening. The former McDonald’s All-American is projected to be a top-10 pick in this year’s draft.

With the NBA Draft less than 12 hours away, Sheppard’s girlfriend, Brailey Dizney, seems to be turning heads on social media.

As of right now, Brailey has over 7,000 followers on Instagram. Last week, she went viral for sharing a swimsuit photo on the platform.

Sheppard’s girlfriend kept her caption for this viral post fairly simple. She wrote, “Mermaid duh.”

This isn’t the first time that Dizney has wowed her followers on Instagram. Last month, she broke out a bold outfit for the Kentucky Derby.

Sheppard, who turned 20 this past Monday, received a birthday message from his girlfriend.

“16->20 and having the time of our lives !!!Let’s be young and in love foreverrrr,” she wrote.

Sheppard and Dizney will most likely share a heartfelt moment once his name is called in the draft.

As a freshman at Kentucky, Sheppard averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. His skills should translate to the next level.

We wish Sheppard all the best as he gets ready for the biggest night of his life.
