Former Kentucky football assistant coach Vince Marrow sent a message to Big Blue Nation on Friday.
“BBN i understand how you guys feel about me going to [Louisville],” Marrow posted on X. “I never said anything bad about lexington it’s one of the best cities i ever lived in hands down. I will miss the good people there.”
Marrow is referring to negative feedback from fans and local media following his appearance on “Just The Cats” with Michael Bennett.

“I gotta be honest, being in Lexington for 13 years, and that was a great,” Marrow explained. “I loved Lexington, and it was kind of like, not that I was brainwashed, but you get locked in. When I took over and started to recruit in Louisville in the city, I started to see, ‘Wow, this place really got a lot, a lot going for it’… I just think Louisville is a city. It’s a great city to sell.”
