Perhaps the best part of the NFL Draft coverage is getting to see personal reactions after the picks. All throughout the television coverage, the cameras give us home shots of the prospects being selected and their celebrations with friends and family.
Thanks to the rise of social media, teams are now sharing some of their own specific content. When it comes to the Dallas Cowboys, one of the biggest brands in professional sports totally pulls back the curtain following their second-round selection of Kelvin Joseph.

In their luxurious draft headquarters, the Cowboys social team has a camera set up to show fans and media just exactly how the calls go down to inform a player they will be selecting them with the upcoming pick. To no one’s surprise, that room looks glorious.
On the call, Joseph gets to speak with the Owner, President, and General Manager Jerry Jones along with head coach Mike McCarthy. As you can see on the call, the Cowboys are very excited to add Joseph while the player was very thankful for the opportunity.
Later on Friday night, the Cowboys met with the media in Dallas to talk about all of their Day Two selections. The franchise went defense-heavy to try to fix one of the worst units in the NFL, and Bossman Fat will play a major role early as a rookie.
