The journey comes to an end for La Familia.
Good morning, BBN!
Well, that was not the ending we wanted for La Familia.
They lost an absolute heartbreaker to Eberlein Drive last night in one of the most up-and-down games we’ve seen in the blue and white.
La Familia was down all game until a massive burst in the fourth quarter that put them up by six before the Elam ending target score was put in place.
Kahlil Whitney really shined during the comeback. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough.
Archie Goodwin missed the game-winning free throw. Then, Eberlein Drive came down, and after three missed game-winning three-point attempts, they got another rebound and kicked it out for the official game winner.
Simply can’t happen, but that defines the craziness of the game and the TBT Tournament.
Goodwin took to Twitter immediately after the game:
No excuses. That’s on me. I’ll get better.

Hate to see it, especially for guys like Goodwin and Whitney who were looking for redemption this year.
With that said, there’s always next year! Who would you like to see on the squad in 2026?

The energy was electric, and it was so great to see Whitney have this moment.
