That third backcourt spot is a very intriguing position battle full of high-quality candidates.
Greetings, BBN!
When looking at who the Kentucky Wildcats’ starters will be next season, you can just about lock Otega Oweh and Jaland Lowe into the backcourt. Oweh is going to be one of the best shooting guards in America, while Lowe is the heavy favorite to be the starting point guard.
After that, the third backcourt spot presents a very intriguing group of challengers vying for one spot.
Florida transfer Denzel Aberdeen looks like the early favorite, but Jasper Johnson may have as much potential and upside as anyone on the roster not named Jayden Quaintance.
What about Collin Chandler? He can effectively play on and off the ball and ended his freshman season on a high note.
Finally, there’s Tulane transfer Kam Williams, who may very well be the best 3-point shooter on this team.
So, if Oweh and Lowe take up two starting spots, who gets the nod for the third backcourt spot? Sound off down in the comments section and in the poll below!
