Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was back at the University of Cincinnati to receive his diploma for the first time and he made sure to mark the occasion as only he (or his brother, Jason) can.
When his name was called at the diploma ceremony, Kelce approached the stage with a beer in his left hand. He hugged the dean then chugged the drink to completion before spiking the can like a football and going to the professor to receive his diploma.
Once it was in his hand, he raised it high up over his head in celebration then posed for a picture on the stage.

For many fans though, this was the last straw. Many took to the comments of this post on X to angrily accuse Kelce of being an attention hog, with some calling his on-stage behavior “abhorrent” and “gross.”
“If you are defending this absolutely abhorrent behavior, and think its cute, you truly need to do some serious reflection. This is gross,” one user wrote.
“this is literally so gross and disrespectful like i cannot stand this man,” wrote another.
“This might be the cringiest video to ever to surface the internet. What was he thinking?” asked a third.
But plenty of others found the video funny and think that the people complaining about the video are just getting bent out of shape.
Kelce is coming off his second straight Super Bowl title and the third of his career. He also happens to be dating one of the world’s biggest celebrities.
It’s easy to find reasons to hate Kelce.
