They’ll stick in the Great Lakes region for their opponent on this quick three-game road trip, too, as the in-division Pittsburgh Pirates are next on their docket.
Lefty Nick Lodolo toes the rubber for the Reds in the series opener along the banks of the Allegheny River, while righty Mitch Keller gets the starting nod for the Pirates on the night. Meanwhile, Will Benson is searching for a homer in his fifth consecutive game as he rides the single best heater of his career (to date).
