After coming up short on Wednesday the Cincinnati Reds are back at home today to play host to the Sacramento Athletics today. With potentially bad weather expected later in the day, the game this afternoon was moved up by an hour and is now scheduled to start at 3:05pm ET.

In the bad news department for today, the Reds are sending Tyler Stephenson to get an MRI on his back today after he experienced some pain in it on Wednesday. Mark Sheldon is reporting that manager Terry Francon said it’s “to make sure nothing serious is going on”.
