Go Rain!
The scheduled game between the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals in Great American Ball Park on Tuesday was banged about an hour before first pitch due to the wave of storms set to hit the area.
Word on the street is that these two clubs will play a day/night doubleheader on Wednesday to make up for it, as Mike Petraglia relayed on Twitter.
Reds-Cards postponed tonight. 12:40-6:40 Day-Night doubleheader Wednesday.

Given that this storm was tracking to hit the area pretty much all day, the hope is that scheduled starter Brady Singer never got so warm that he won’t be available to start one of the two games tomorrow. Whether or not that’s the day game (12:40 PM ET) or the night game (6:40 PM ET) remains to be seen, with the same presumably going for Wednesday’s scheduled starter Andrew Abbott.
The team’s five-game win streak will have to wait to be put on the line for another day, sadly.
