White Sox quietly block Reds’ path to free agent upgrade

The Chicago White Sox have picked up Luis Robert Jr.’s $20-million option for the 2026 season. That means, if the Cincinnati Reds will need to work out a trade in order to acquire the former All-Star this offseason.
